Hospitals in Ottawa are ready to help the region’s children, youth and families get the timely care they need, as directed by Ontario Health.

In June 2022, the Ottawa Paramedic Service and Hôpital Montfort launched a pilot program that integrates Primary Care Paramedics into the Montfort Emergency Department.

Montfort’s board of trustees announces that Dr. Bernard Leduc, the hospital’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will be retiring in 2023, at the end of his term.

Montfort, Ontario's Francophone academic hospital, continues to innovate in training the next generation of Francophone healthcare professionals. The hospital will now welcome a few staff members who speak French or English and who are willing and eager to learn the other official language in order to provide care and services in both languages. This language immersion initiative for healthcare professionals is unique in it's kind.

It is with great pleasure that Mr. Carl Nappert, Chairman of the Montfort Board of Trustees, has revealed the name of the hospital's next medical leader. Dr. Thierry Daboval will join the Montfort team on September 19. The new incumbent was identified after a Canada-wide search. Dr. Daboval will replace Dr. Stéphane Roux as Chief of Staff of Hôpital Montfort, who completed his term in July 2022.
