Thrombosis

This clinic treats patients with confirmed or suspected deep vein thrombosis (blood clot in a leg) or pulmonary embolism (blood clot in a lung). It also works with patients presenting thrombophilia (a tendency to form clots). The clinic offers perioperative anticoagulation services, as well as advice and treatment for women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Finally, it monitors patients on long-term anticoagulant medication to adjust dosages and manage risks.
