Hôpital Montfort has been named among Canada's top research hospitals for the eighth consecutive year.

For the third time, Montfort reaches the highest recognition level in the country, in addition to another unique certification in Canada.

To increase capacity in the hospital, Hôpital Montfort begins transferring patients waiting for an “alternate level of care” to a dedicated 20-bed unit at Beacon Heights Retirement Residence in Ottawa’s Gloucester neighbourhood.

Montfort is recruiting new members for its association. The Association consists of up to 100 volunteer francophile members, acting as the hospital’s ambassadors and dedicated to upholding the mission and vision of Montfort as a francophone academic hospital.

It is with great emotion that Dr. Bernard Leduc, President and CEO of Hôpital Montfort, announced the departure of Philippe Marleau, who will be leaving Montfort in June 2023 to retire.
