Making strategic choices for 2024–2028

Please accept our warmest greetings on behalf of the 3000 employees, physicians, researchers and volunteers and the 1600 annual learners at Hôpital Montfort, the Institut du Savoir Montfort and Santé Montfort, which, notably, runs a long-term care home.

At Montfort, we honour the past, celebrate the present and strive to build the future.

With the arrival of a new president and CEO at Montfort and a new CEO at the
Institut du Savoir Montfort in 2023, the boards of directors of Hôpital Montfort, the Institut du Savoir Montfort and Santé Montfort decided to embark on a vast consultation process internally, in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, and across the province, given our provincial mandate, to develop a 2024–2028 strategic plan that will guide us toward Montfort’s 75th anniversary, which we will celebrate on October 11, 2028.

The mission we gave our teams is clear: come up with a strategic plan of no more than seven pages that articulates a shared vision, a distinct mission for each of our three organizations, our values, five or so key unifying goals and about 15 concrete outcomes to attain by 2028.

Developing a strategic plan means making choices.

To one and all, you have Montfort’s ear!
