Montfort welcomes the first baby of the year in Ottawa
Ottawa, January 1, 2021 – The first baby of 2021 for the Ottawa region, Harlow Winter Margaret Bianco, was born nine minutes after midnight on January 1 at the Family Birthing Centre in Montfort.
The mother, Brandy McCann, gave birth with the help of her midwife Céline Goodrich, and the support of her partner, Bruce Bianco.
As is usually the case following a delivery with a midwife, the family left the hospital a few hours later.
Once home, Harlow will meet her siblings Payton, Marcus, Mason and Cormac.
To celebrate the event, a gift basket was handed to the new mother on behalf of Montfort.
We wish all the best to the family, and a very healthy new year!
