How can I donate to the Montfort Foundation?
- By filling out the online donation form
- By contacting us at 613-748-4920 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
- By dropping by our offices, Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
For a donation in memory of a loved one, we can send a card to the family in which you can also include a personal message. If you wish to proceed this way, you must provide us with your message as well as with the recipient's name and mailing address. The amount of your donation will not be disclosed.
Does the Montfort Foundation issue official tax receipts?
We issue an official tax receipt for all donations of $20 or more. For online donations, your receipt is automatically emailed to you. For donations by mail, please be sure to provide us with your name and the address to which send your receipt. For monthly donations, we will send you a single receipt at the end of the year, for the total amount of your contributions.
Can I designate my donation?
If you wish to designate your donation, you must specify the name of the benefitting department or program, when making your contribution.
Does the Montfort Foundation solicit donations by going "door-to-door"?
No. We never use this method of solicitation.
Am I allowed to organize a fundraising activity for Montfort?
Absolutely. Every year, individuals and groups organize a wide range of fundraising activities that represent their interests in order to raise money for Montfort. Interested in this challenge? What are the Montfort Foundation's priorities for 2020?
This year, we will focus our efforts on launching a major fundraising campaign to support the construction of the Orléans Health Hub—a unique and innovative model of care that is highly promising for the future of Ontario's health care system. We are also working to secure funding for the first research chair in family medicine—a collaboration between the University of Ottawa’s Department of Family Medicine and the Institut du savoir Montfort.
