Quality Improvement Plan
To all our patients and their families and the community,
I am pleased to make public the Hôpital Montfort Quality Improvement Plans (QIP). These documents, are now required from all hospitals in Ontario under the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care 2010 Excellence of Care for All Act (ECFAA). The QIP was also tabled with the Ontario Health Quality Council and the Champlain Local Health Integration Networks.
The Act requires that each year health care organizations develop a QIP for the next year and make this plan publicly available.
In short, our plans clearly describe how Hôpital Montfort is committed to improving safety, efficiency, access and patient-centered care. The QIP fits very well with other planning initiatives in place at Montfort. The desire to make our services and care better is one of our core values. More than a guide, the QIP is a formal commitment that will push even further the ongoing concern for quality and patient safety, shared by all people working at Hôpital Montfort.
