Denis Prud'homme, MD, MSc

 Dr. Prud’homme is the Associate vice-president Research and the Scientific director at Institut du Savoir Montfort. He obtained a medical degree and a Specialist’s Certificate in Family Medicine as well as a bachelor degree and a master degree in Human Kinetics at Laval University. He is a Full Professor at the School of Human Kinetics and he was Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences from 2002 to 2012. He is also an active clinician at the Sports Medicine Clinic Outaouais. Dr. Prud'homme is interested in the effects of physical activity in people (adolescents, men and women) who have health problems such as obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

He is also interested in the impact of language barriers on health, particularly on the access and quality of health services to Francophone minority communities.
