Justin Presseau, PhD

Dr. Presseau is a scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) and an assistant professor at the School of Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He completed his PhD in 2011 at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He then completed his post-doctorate with Dr. Martin Eccles at the University of Newcastle in England (2011-2012). He was an assistant professor in health psychology at the University of Newcastle (2012-2015). He moved to Ottawa in the summer of 2015, where he joined the OHRI and the University of Ottawa. Dr. Presseau is an associate editor for Implementation Science and is a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Health Psychology. He received three awards in recognition of his academic contributions in 2012 (UK Society for Behavioral Medicine), in 2014 (International Society of Behavioral Medicine), and in 2016 (European Health Psychology Society). It has more than 40 publications and 25 grants
