December 18, 2015 - Hôpital Montfort awarded Bronze status by the Healthy Foods program
Hôpital Montfort received Bronze status from the Healthy Foods in Champlain Hospitals initiative, awarded by the CCPN. Montfort is the first hospital in the City of Ottawa to earn this distinction.
After being kept from the public eye for more than 10 years, the counter-monument “Place Oh! Francophone Anonyme d’Amérique” has finally been given a permanent, prominent place near the main entrance of Hôpital Montfort.
December 15, 2015 - Hôpital Montfort signs an agreement with Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai
Two years after obtaining its status as a teaching hospital, Hôpital Montfort has just signed its first international agreement. Starting next year, Montfort will receive 4th and 5th year medical students from the Ruijin Hospital, affiliated with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, in China.

Hôpital Montfort received a Silver Award during the 2015 edition of the Quality Healthcare Workplace Awards, handed by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), and also reached Bronze status with its very first OHA Green Hospital Scorecard.

September 2, 2015 - Alain-Michel Sékula inducted as Honorary Lieutenant Colonel
The Canadian Forces Health Services Centre Ottawa held an investiture ceremony on September 2, 2015, to induct Alain-Michel Sékula as Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the unit.
