It also allows you to support Montfort’s mission so that it can pursue its quest for excellence and continue to reach its objectives. You can make the donation without restriction, which allows the Montfort Foundation to distribute the funds to meet the hospital's priority needs. You can also make the donation for a specific purpose, in accordance with your interests or objectives.

Types of planned gifts

Testamentary bequests
A bequest in a will indicates a willingness to make a donation. You can modify its content or cancel it at any time. Your heirs will also benefit from the related fiscal benefits.

Life insurance policy donation
This donation designates the Montfort Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy. This approach allows you to achieve your philanthropic objectives while preserving your assets. The earnings paid are not subject to estate fees and this type of donation offers interesting fiscal benefits.

Endowment fund
The creation of an endowment fund is a sustainable way to show solidarity with future generations. With this long-term solution, your successors will continue to have access to quality health care and services. The Montfort Foundation perpetually invests the capital of this fund and only the income is used. The endowment fund may be named after you or a family member. You can also create it in memory of a loved one.

If you are considering making a planned gift, you should first consult a financial advisor. This will allow you to choose the type of donation that best suits your means, interests and objectives.
