Infrastructure Ontario Project Update

Ottawa, June 26, 2019 – EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare has been selected as the preferred proponent to build and finance the Orléans Health Hub Project. The company was selected after extensive evaluations following an open, fair and competitive request for proposals (RFP) process that began in October 2018.

Infrastructure Ontario and Hôpital Montfort will now work to finalize contract details with EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare. The project is expected to reach financial close in summer 2019, which means that relevant contracts have been signed and a financing rate has been set. The contract cost will be announced publicly following financial close. ;

The Orléans Health Hub project involves the construction of a new facility at the corner of Mer-Bleue Road and Brian Coburn Boulevard. The hub will bring together several health and community service partner organizations to respond to client needs within a comprehensive service delivery model of care. Services provided will include:

  • Specialized clinics
  • Medical imaging
  • Services for seniors
  • Mental health and wellness
  • Rehabilitation

Once the Hub is completed, residents of eastern Ottawa, from newborns to seniors, will have access to integrated programs close to home, focused on their needs and offered in both official languages.
