Manager, Communications and Donor Relations

This is a new position created to manage the communications function at the Foundation, and to provide support to both the CEO and Vice-President Philanthropy in donor relations. The Manager, Communications & Donor Relations creates and executes an annual communication plan and key messages for the Foundation. This role has a diversity of responsibilities including the launch of a new donor newsletter, website content, speaking notes, funding proposals, stakeholder correspondence, campaign and fundraising marketing, and media materials.

Reporting to the Vice-President Philanthropy, the Manager, Communications & Donor Relations is responsible for developing and executing all Foundation marketing and promotion efforts, media relations and donor stewardship, communications and activities with the goal of informing and inspiring support for the Foundation.

Vice President Philanthropy

The Vice President Philanthropy will provide support to the President & CEO in the development and implementation of a strategic fund development growth plan. He/she will lead the creation and execution of fundraising plans and measure the effectiveness of the annual and major gift performance. The VP will carry their own portfolio of prospects and will develop and deepen relationships with these donors. As a liaison between the Foundation and external stakeholders, the VP will be highly collaborative and will lead and manage and develop his/her team.
