Hôpital Montfort salutes Lucille Perreault, Vice President of Clinical Programs
OTTAWA, March 14, 2016 – After 13 years as the head of clinical programs at Hôpital Montfort and over 40 years in the health field, Lucille Perreault is taking a well-deserved retirement.
As Vice-President and Chief Nursing Executive at Montfort since 2002, Ms Perreault made her mark by ensuring that the clinical teams worked smoothly during the growth of the New Montfort; she injected dynamism into the nursing model and implemented the LEAN approach to increase the efficiency of the university hospital.
Under her leadership, Hôpital Montfort’s clinical team achieved the status of Best Practices Spotlight Organization, awarded by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario. She also sat on many boards of directors and committees at the regional and provincial levels.
“Throughout her 13 years of service with us, Lucille always stood out for her exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence in the care provided to our patients through the unconditional adoption of best practices,” says Dr. Bernard Leduc, President and CEO of Hôpital Montfort.
The search for a successor to the position of Vice-President of Clinical Programs has already been launched. Ms Perreault will remain as interim vice-president for the next few months in order to support Montfort during this transition period.
Hôpital Montfort is a Francophone academic health institution that provides quality care in both official languages and works with its partners to improve the health of communities. Montfort is designated a Group A teaching hospital. It obtained its accreditation with exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada and has also been recognized as a Best Practices Spotlight Organization by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO).
