Geneviève Gauthier, PhD

Geneviève Gauthier holds a doctorate in cognitive psychology from McGill University and worked for over 15 years in faculty development. Her research program focuses on evaluative judgment and reasoning in a context of academic and professional training. Her research focuses on the diagnostic of evaluation of clinical teachers' competences regarding clinical reasoning and complex tasks. Dr Gauthier explores these skills  in studying how knowledges and practical skills related to clinical reasoning are designed, taught and assessed in the use of complex tasks as teaching tools.
