Dr. Nicholas Dust
Dr. Nicholas Dust joined the pediatric group at Hôpital Montfort in December of 2011. His current practice includes an active consulting pediatrics clinic at Hôpital Montfort in addition to daytime and on-call coverage of the normal newborn and level II intensive care newborn nurseries at Montfort.
Dr. Dust holds a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics as well as a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Ottawa. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) as well as one year of fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHEO before joining the Montfort team.
In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Dust is the head of the Neonatal Simulation Sub-Committee and is a member of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee at Montfort. He is a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructor and teaches NRP courses on a regular basis at Montfort.
Dr. Dust also sits on Champlain Maternal Newborn Regional Program (CMNRP) committees including the Jaundice Working Group and Education Strategies and Simulation Committee.
