Donor Rights

Everyone who makes a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation obtains rights that the Foundation pledges to honour. This engagement translates into a guarantee of highly professional relations between donors and representatives of the organization, including the donor’s right to ask questions about the donation at any time and to receive honest and direct answers in return from a qualified, informed individual.

Information

Everyone who makes a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation is entitled to receive information concerning the Foundation’s mission and its most recent, audited financial reports; the allocation and breakdown of donations by the Foundation based on objectives; the make-up of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees; and lastly, the status of the volunteers and employees who solicit donations for the Foundation.

Donation Allocation

Everyone who makes a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation is entitled to require assurance that his/her donation will be used for the purpose specified, and the Board of Trustees will show caution and good judgement in exercising its donation management duties.

Confidentiality

Everyone who makes a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation is entitled to require that all information concerning his/her donation be treated with respect and confidentiality, in accordance with the law, and may demand to have his/her name removed from mailing lists at any time.

Recognition

Everyone who makes a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation is entitled to participate in recognition programs and activities planned by the Foundation as a tribute to its generous donors.
