Becoming a Simulation Instructor
This one-day instructor training is intended for physicians and clinical staff members interested in perfecting their skills and using clinical immersion simulation as a vehicle for knowledge transfer.
This course is mandatory for instructors. It covers theoretical and practical concepts for optimizing the impact of simulation-based training through:
- The development of clinical scenarios involving a high degree of realism;
- The establishment and maintenance of an atmosphere conducive to learning;
- The use of various objectification techniques to guide the thought processes of participants.
Under the leadership of three seasoned simulation laboratory members, the training offers participants frequent opportunities to apply the concepts taught through interactive activities.
